Dude, just go up to someone you are attracted to with the mindset that you are a million times more confident than you are. Head up, eye contact (don't be the first to look away), easy conversation don't rush, talk about anything you feel comfortable with (don't start a conversation that is going to dead end), act as though you've known her since grade school and just haven't seen her in a while. Be honest, don't tell a girl something that isn't even true just to impress, it will only lead to problems later. At first, just try to make a few new friends and work your way along from there. If you're in school, you might ask about homework, what subjects they're taking, what their college plans are in the future. If you're out of school, don't ask what their sign is. You might ask about any travels they have undertaken, what books are "must read," what coffee shops they prefer. Small talk, but it will get the conversation going.

Ii`m the same way! i also asked the same question i just tried to be more talkative and it helped me to get more comfortable talking to guys,anyway you should just try to talk more and when you meet a girl try to be fun and make her feel special by complementing her and keeping the conversation alive good luck ;)

You might be shy , but you may use your vision . You may practice in solitude. You may practice talking to your friends as if they are girls. You may talk to girls as if they are boys. Sounds funny, no these are proven techniques to overcome shyness. .... and simple to implement. All the best !

be yourself. remember girls are girls. be gentle, strong willed,and head strong!
before you go out that door look at youself in the mirror and say. "talking is talking."
look at them in the eye when you talk. dont roll your eyes down.
smile. girls like guys who smile! ^_^
you can start by going out and say hi to whomever you see boy or girl. see that results. and continue to socialiize
