How to know what activities have been performed on my computer during my absence i.e. Files opened, Files deleted, Files moved, etc. or any other activities. Further, if somebody saves a file in my computer changing the original name including the extension, is there a way to find if I know the original file name or the extension.

I would do two things, if part of a networkget with the network admin or security person AND I would password my machine. On very large networks, they can update machines by pushing new files out from a central computer, but you should be told in advance. If personal. Password like I said

do a search (right-click on Start --> Search) and search for everything on your computer between the dates you are interested in. The files and folders that appear were created/modified during your absence.
