Indoor wedding
Winterland theme
Use the post holiday sales to pick up decorations and centerpieces.
Colors can be white, gold, ivory, and red.
You can get white christmas lights and wrap then around trees and columns in your reception hall.

Congrats and good luck

you have lots of time to plan. My daughter had a March wedding and we also had a limited budget. We did everything ourselves. We used Christmas sales to pick up decorations from the craft stores and wine and other beverages, catching the after christmas sales for the decorations (ribbons, and some flowers) and the beverage sales around New Years. You can also use the tax time when businesses need to get rid of stock before paying taxes on inventory.

Dark colors, like red, blue, brown, or green are good for wintertime.

However, if you're thinking this far in advance so that you know what you're looking at as far as money, the colors should be one of the last things you think about.

well, first off, ima wedding photographer so you know this advice is good, Jan is pretty cold, so definatly have lots of indoor stuff and if your gunna have like an outdoor cocktail thing, get lots of heat lamps also, it should cost a decent amount, like around 2000, i think, dont quote me on that, but yes if you need a good photographer and live in the CA bay area, we have really good quality work at reasonable prices lauphotography.com

go to theknot.com they have wonderful resources to begin planning for your wedding.... and congrats ! good luck with everything....

i would go with a light blue and ivory color for winter, just think of the snow and everything about winter... all the colors that you can imagine.. but i would go with lighter colors...

as for themes, think of things you do during the winter, sleigh rides, sitting by the fire.. things like that... make it unique...

i think color should be very light..
like white with faint pink or white with beige it should be nice.
beige roses or very light pink roses & for your dress also....
i think red its too much for wedding,i know in america or europe it's usuall but,in east countries specialy iran we use very light colors for dress and flowers and everything...so
good luck,i wish you a best life ;)
