I think that it depends on your views of dating. Sometimes the only reason we date is so that we don't feel as lonely. You can find a quality with a person that sends a tickle to your stomache but at the same point just not see things going places. Chemistry can be instant and thats when you know you have a great thing going on with someone. But sometimes it takes going on a hunch or just giving someone a chance to realize there is something there. Every date you go on will not have chemistry though. So i'd have to say No. There doesn't need to be chemistry it just helps the date be successful and continue with both parties being happy.

It is best that you be friends before even dating and when you do you will know if you have anything in common and if there is a strong feeling or chemistry then of course you want to date that person.

Yes certainly chemistry is very important in any relationship. My departed husband was almost bald when we meet & a beautiful big nose that I adored of course he hated. But the Chemistry was certainly there from the first moment.

To date, no. To be truly happy, yes. If you don't feel you have anything in common with the person, what's the use in dating them? If you truly want to find a soul mate, look for someone who you can love as much as they love you. Your interests, likes, and dislikes should be very similar. It took me 50 years and 3 bad marraiges to find someone I was truly compatible with, but all the hardships I faced were worth it if they prepared me for her. I never believed in soul mates until I met her. I thought the term "soul mates" was dreamt up by silly women who read too many romance novels, and thought the men were just saying they believed it in order to get what they wanted from the woman. I was wrong. Soul mates do exist, and it's worth anything you may have to go through to get there.

In order for a real relationship to blossom, of course. Why do people (generally speaking) go out for a date? That is to find people with similar values and interests...

ill be honest. i didnt examine that entire ingredient. And it wouldnt change my answer if i did. because i dont comprehend the adult males like you do. Heres my answer for you. turn a coin in the air, heads for guy a million and tails for guy 2. even as the coin is in the air you'll comprehend which one you extremely choose it to be. and then you need to stay with your heart, regardless of the cons, you pass after that guy. I guarentee you'd be at liberty that way :)
