From my past experience, I wish to inform you that almost all
fizzy and soft drinks contains huge amounts of sugar plus
artificial flavorings etc. which is bad for the health, especially
in diabetes.
If you're young and energetic, it's okay to drink fizzy or soft
drinks like soda, coke or pepsi because your body system
can take it, but as you grow older and in your middle age to
old age, it is advisable to stop completely. At this stage, you
maybe suffering mild ailments which may lead to diabetes etc.
Thus, in order to cut this bad habit of drinking soda, coke, pepsi
everyday, I would suggest you change to drinking Chinese tea
which can reduce your weight and is good for stomach and bowel system. The chinese people, old and young alike, have been drinking chinese tea for centuries and they have no complaints of deteriorating health.
Try it today!

If you need an power booster, i'd suggest 5 hour vigor pictures (Small bottle) or gatorade if you don't want the weight to return back, plus alternatively, soda will not provide you with an vigour increase for more than about 10 min. Because soda will not be healthy, it's going to handiest raise you up for like 5 min.! Until, you wish to have only a boost for five minutes. However in order that you recognize, don't drink soda proper earlier than bed. Then you cant go to sleep in any respect on account that you had all the sugar. Take my advice on this! - Hope i helped!

Try drinking lemonade or anything non-carbonated for 3 weeks. They say it takes 21 days to break a habit. If you can do that for three weeks, I bet you will not like the taste of carbonated drinks. I used to drink a lot of soda. Then I decided to cut it out of my diet completely. Every now and then I drink a soda, but I can never finish a 12 ounce can. You will be amazed at how much weight you can loose just by cutting carbonation out of your diet. And once you get used to living without it, you will get to where you don't really like it anymore.
Good Luck!!

I was a diet pepsi addict...I even would pack diet pepsi for overseas trips in fear of not being able to get it (or the same formula!) Last year though I decided I had to lose weight, and I was horrified to find out that the high sodium and artificial sweeteners in diet sodas were keeping me from my weight-loss goals.....so I went cold turkey. You can try gradually cutting down on your drinking coca-cola with other things, like Emergen-C, a powder loaded with vitamins and other nutrients that makes your drink fizzy. I also loaded up on green tea, and plain water.
I've decided that once I meet my weight loss goal, I can start having diet pepsi again, but as a treat. Funny, I miss it way more than I do alcohol, which I've also cut out!

Try the Diet Coke and the Coke Zero. They taste the same as the regular Coke but with no calories. Diet soda is really not bad these days. I cannot even tell the difference in the taste.

Actually, the orange juice idea is not very good. Although orange juice is healthier and gives you nutritional values, it is full of carbs. Diet Soda is also a bad choice. Researchers have found that diet sodas increase your appetite. I would recommend crystal light mixed with sparkling water. It will give you the orange juice taste, or any juice for that matter, it's cheap, and it's low in calories, carbs, etc....

Ok, I love Coke, and diet tastes like crap to me, so I wouldn't even bother going there. Maybe you should substitute the coke for a juice, or better yet, water. Instead of buying a soda, buy a water, not only will you be healthier, but you will probably save money as well. Only have coke for special occasions. But go slowly, don't cut yourself off, but cut it down gradually.

My mother is my source for sodas in the home, since I'm broke *** and don't buy it.
When I ran out of soda, she forgot to buy it at the store, I spent about three weeks drinking nothing but water (I live in a very rural area. We go grocery shopping about once a month).
When I got my soda again, it wasn't all that great. I prefer water.
