Does anyone know where I can buy a Canon Digital Rebel for the lowest price possible? Any good websites for this stuff?

Or does anyone have one that they would like to sell?

ebay - I just bought one there for $550 and it's only a year old and in excellent condition. I personally think this is an excellent camera for a novice or beginning-level photographer.

The Rebel XT (350D) is a superb camera, and since the announcement of a replacement model last month (the XTi / 400D), the price has come down considerably, making it fantastic value for money. With Canon, you're also assured of a phenomenal upgrade path and a ludicrously wide selection of lenses and accessories in every price category.
Where to go for the best price depends on a few things. Your location for example. If you're in the USA, you can use sites like http://froogle.google.com to compare prices, but I recommend you stick to B&H, Beach Camera, and Ritz Camera. These three stores are very reputable, won't give you a hard time if you need to return anything, and they have fantastic prices. The best price also depends on if you need anything else. If you also want to buy one or two lenses and a memory card, you'll find that each store offers different kits. Each kit can contain different items with the XT, with different discounts. In the USA, again compare the three shops I mentioned.
The most common kit is with a Canon 18-55mm lens.
For better image quality and a bit more range, consider the Canon 17-85mm lens.
For more zoom range on the cheap (at the expense of image quality), consider Tamron/ Sigma/ Tokina lenses.

Hi,
I shop a lot online and to save time and money I always use cheapest prices search engine. There are over a million consumer written reviews, almost every merchant on the Internet is listed there, there are many was to compare both products and merchants, sometimes you will find lower prices there than other places because it is how merchants sell their products, by having the lower price.
I have been using them for years and they keep adding more options that help me shop. I like it that I can go to any merchants site and get their toll free phone number and either ask them questions or place my order over the phone instead of the Internet.
I wish you good luck an I hope you find what you are looking for.

Why? It is an over priced poor quality camera compared to it's Pentax equivalent. Like a Nikon, you are paying more for the name than for the product. You can find (for example) a Pentax *istD DSLR with a 18x55mm lens (etc.) for $599 with a $100 mail in rebate, most any where.
