No need to be sorry, you are right.
Whenever in Bible is a phrase Jesus saying- "Father" christians believe in divinity of him
If Jesus mentiones" My father and your father" of "Gods sons"- it is not considered AT ALL..
But Solomon & David were as well called as "My beloved Son" by God in Bible
So whats the difference then??
Good question ,man

The Scriptures clearly tell us at Col.1:!5 that Jesus was "the first born of all creation".And through Jesus all other things were made. That is why Jesus is referred to God's only begotten Son.The angels in the heavens are also referred to as sons of God,however Jesus is the first begotten.
Jehovah God is a mighty spirit creature, and as such,is beyond our understanding. We are only imperfect humans created by God and our understanding is limited. So when you say they must have had a mum, only shows your logic as a human.
The Bible does not teach the Trinity doctrine. It is a pagan belief that was fused into apostate Christianity in the fourth century.
There are no oddities in that book,as you put it.It is only your lack of understanding of what it contains.
If you are sincerely interested in coming to an accurate knowledge of the Bible why not consider having a free home Bible study with Jehovah's Witnesses. They have a thorough and clear understanding of the Holy Scriptures and would be only too happy to help you come to accurate knowledge.
John 17:3-"This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you,the only true God and of the one who you sent forth,Jesus Christ"
So you see you have nothing to loose, but everything to gain.

I'm thinkin it's cuz Jesus was the only man to have been concieved directly by God, hence the whole virgin birth thing. That's why they say "begotten not made" and such. The whole idea is that God "miraculously" concieved JC without a human father, and that made Jesus more than "just a man", as so many people believe.
I know you don't buy into the whole Xtianity thing, but I hope this gives ya some insight into why Xtians believe what they believe.
Peace

Humans are God's children merely because He created us all. God created the human race, and everything else. But we don't say the planets and the trees are God's children. They are just His creation. We are His children because He created us in His image.
God is of 3 Persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
God sent the Son to earth in human form (Jesus). When Jesus told us that He was the Son of God, He used the word "son" as a word to make us understand that there is other parts of God. Jesus also said that He is the "Son of Man". That doesn't mean that we all gave birth to Him. It means that He came in human form (from a human woman; man = humankind). Jesus is the ONLY "Son" of God. There are not a dozen more "Jesus' " in God. Jesus is the ONLY Son of God. Just like our Creator, the Father, is the ONLY Father of God; and the Holy Spirit is the ONLY Spirit of God.
Yes, this is very confusing but once you fully understand it all, it's all wonderful! I think it's difficult for us to comunicate in a way to understand because we just type once in a while and can't sit and have hours and days of communication. I like helping people try to understand the Christian, especially the Catholic, faith but I can't explain it all in a few typed sentences. I'm sorry if what I typed above doesn't make sense. I speak better than I type.

Saying -Vox populi vox dei- (the will of people is God’s will) reveals the truth.
The God reveals his will through action of people and other living beings
(in the Universe everything is alive).
Be in good relationship with all alive beings. This is the utmost law.
Anyone who infringes the law whether knowing it or not will be responsible for own acts. There are no exceptons.Saints are not excluded.
As was in past the same is today. Live higher life if you can but let live other do the best they can. We are all the children of the God.

The current bible has been amended and changed. The text is not the original which was sent down by God.
It does not befit the Majesty of God to have any partner, wife, child, advisor, etc.
God has NO children, NO wife, NO family.
He is One.
We are all God's creation, not his children.
He is our Lord, not our father.
"That book" has oddities because it is not in its original form.
Jesus was born without the agency of a father.
It is not difficult for God to create something when and how he desires.
Jesus' mother was the virgin Mary, who was a pure and chaste woman.

Jesus is God's only begotten son, because Jesus was the only thing God created alone. Everything else that was created was created with Jesus' help.
Col.1:15 Jesus is the image of God, the first born of ALL creation; for in him ALL things were created, in heaven and on earth.

good question!!
Jesus was ONLY a spiritual son of God JUST LIKE ALL OF US.
period!!
there's no trinity!!
there is NO salvation from from the pagan tradition of human sacrifice!!
Apparently the early churches AKA pagan temples in Rome were confused whether to believe in Jesus or the GODS!!
the Monks of the early church were pagan Monks!!
and that's how the concept of the Crucifixion and salvation by human sacrifice came into play!!

God made a law and we broke it, we are condemned by it, it requres Blood (someone has to die). God is perfect and cannot allow sin in his presence. Our sin is a curse. Curses are usually broken by a blood sacrafice/ offering/ punishment/ atonement - even satanists know this. The enemy of God has been cast into hell and wishes to take gods children with him. Jesus was the only way around this condemnation of Gods own Law -even God has to obey his own word. A sacrafice of a "firstfruit" a "perfect" "lamb" would appease the Law of sin. So Gods own son was the perfect and complete sacrafice for all sin for eternity. He took our place in Hell and conquered the grave and death and secured our place in heaven by going to hell for us in our place. He was dead for three days, conquered hell and rose again. Now he is is Heaven and those who partake in him are viewed as Children of God and may be saved as they enter eternity and god sees his beloved sons blood coursing thru your viens when you have accepted him into your heart, as you have put on the righteousness of Jesus before you die.
