1) How did an elderly man gather two of every animal (don't forget insects, every kind of worm, predatory birds, venomous snakes, etc) on the planet?
2) How did said elderly man feed, and know exactly what to feed, these animals?
3) How did he keep them all alive, and seperated?
4) How did he get rid of all the sh*t?
5) How did this elderly man navigate such a large vessel up the Amazon, through the treacherous Arctic waters, and down the shallow Nile river, all by himself?
6) How did he re-distribute these animals after the flood?
7) If he indeed did gather 2 of every animal on the planet, wouldn't he be the original person to discover every continent on the planet?
8) When actually telling people the story of this Ark, do you actually expect people to believe it?
One guideline when answering. Don't say that "God helped him," that's a cop-out, and you know it.

Well if God is so powerful, why didn't he/she just take care of the whole thing for Noah, and let the old guy live out his golden years in peace?

Alfred Godot Symco, or "God" to his friends, was Noah's prime contractor. For the right price anything was possible, but God was particularly proud of the advanced shipboard waste disposable system that had been developed by a band of wandering gypsies.
Credits as follows:
1) How did an elderly man gather two of every animal...
Siberian Huskies were used to herd them. God considered several competing offers, but these guys had a history of reliability.
2) How did said elderly man feed, and know exactly what to feed, these animals?
God contracted the Greek Academy of Science in Athens to do a study on animal foods. The GAS study was on time and within budget - God always picks the best.
3) How did he keep them all alive, and seperated?
Using cages supplied by subcontractors in both the middel east and northern europe.
4) How did he get rid of all the sh*t?
That famous shipboard waste disposable system. God was not sure about the gypsies, but they came through with flying colors.
5) How did this elderly man navigate such a large vessel up the Amazon, through the treacherous Arctic waters, and down the shallow Nile river, all by himself?
He used a system developed by a Lockheed-Martin's predecessor, Wright and Lefty Nav Systems Inc. God cheated on this one as Lefty is his brother-in-law, but the system still worked.
6) How did he re-distribute these animals after the flood?
Several Russian air transports were still in working order. These served as the delivery system. God located them in nearby Iran.
7) If he indeed did gather 2 of every animal on the planet, wouldn't he be the original person to discover every continent on the planet?
No. In this case, God used bio-geographic information from two Atlantean researchers, and the Scrolls of Skellos. And Noah never left the vicinity of the Ark. The subcontractors picked them up.
8) When actually telling people the story of this Ark, do you actually expect people to believe it?
Certainly. What is not to be believed?
So, in summary, God did help him, and in many ways.

1) Old men in those days were vigorous. Very vigorous. He didn't have to worry about insects because they can survive quite a while in the egg stage. Venemous snakes went in the "venemous snake" ark that the devil built. LOL.
2) Old men in those days knew a lot more about nature than modern man did today. He probably kept the mice for the snakes to eat.
3) stalls
4) shovel
5) Never heard of that. I think he just let the winds blow where ever
6) Let them out. Probably bit by bit
7) No. I think he just gathered the animals of his region, or of his own "known" world. The Greeks and the North American Natives also have a flood story. They probably helped along.
8) Only because it is colluded in other cultures. The main arguement being the NA Natives had a similar story. (That is to say, they had the story BEFORE they heard the Noah version) Although, I don't think it had anything to do with animals. Only that there was a flood.

First, he is only elderly by our terms, people lived for hundreds of years back than. It was less than 1000 years since the creation of man, so few mutations had crept into Human DNA. He was likely very strong and very intelligent.
Since it was less than 1000 years from Creation, the animals still were close by Eden, which still existed at the time fo the flood.
He wasn't told to collect anything except animals, which he did, and could have done, because of the proximity of Eden.
He only had to feed them for a relatively short time, and he feed the cats with milk from the milk producers.
I imagine he dumped the waste overboard.
He didn't navigate anything, since the Ark was a box, not a boat. It only had to float, not sale. Only in mythology is it a boat.
There were no continents, or oceans, at the time. Things changed as the waters flowed away and the planet changed. The animals distributed themselves.
Yes, by leaving out the mythology taught by so many religions, it is simple to teach someone about the Great Flood.

Saying that God helped is NOT a cop-out. If you believe that to be a cop-out, you are out of touch with reality. God or His angels guided the ark. God directed the various animals to the ark. God told Noah what kind of feed to get for each creature on board the ark. Noah did not navigate the Arctic, Amazon or Nile rivers. They were all covered by water. Even Mount Everest was covered by water. re #6, God lead the animals to there various places. re #7, as stated earlier, God guided all the animals that He wanted saved in the Ark, to go to where it was.

God had to be involved in the process, because it was supernatural. It's not a copout to include God in the equation, because God was the one who gave Noah all the plans and materials.
God caused the animals to present themselves at the Ark. Noah didn't have to go chase after them.
Really big animals stayed up on deck.
The Ark was actually a time machine which transported Noah, his family, and all the animals into the future, almost immediately.
Outside, time passed as usual. Inside, only a few hours passed.
This was done by the power of the Holy Spirit, as God is the only one with power over time.
Noah didn't even need to move very far.
Afterwards, he simply released the animals and allowed them to repopulate the earth, going wherever they decided to go.
The rest is history.
I'm surprised you couldn't piece together all these details from your own Bible.

It might sound impossible to you, but since God instructed Noah to build an ark and do the other things, God Himself also provided a way for all the animals to be gathered to the ark, for Noah to care for those animals, etc. I mean, why not God?
This may seem like foolishness to you, but if you would just believe in God and know His ways, you'll know that these things can happen. God is not limited to our logics and reasoning, because His ways and His thoughts are higher than our mere human ways and thoughts.
Btw, most Bible stories were not copied from other myths or legends - they are true and accurate historical accounts.

At Noah's time humans were created to live very long lives. God made them healthy and gave them only healthy foods to eat. No McDonalds back then. Thus Noah lived long. He, his wife, their sons and daughter-in-laws all built the ark. God told Noah exactly how to do it. (See the bible). God sent the animals, Noah didn't gather them (see the bible). God told Noah what food and how much food to put on the ark for the animals and them. The ark was HUGE! It was 4 stories tall. Animals were separated by wooden fences. God made the animals tame for Noah so that they would all survive and be able to multiple after the flood. I think Noah and his sons shoveled the sh*t and threw it over board. And used some for manure. The Ark wasn't on the Amazon river because that river was all flooded. The Ark floated somewhere where today's Mesopetamia Sea is. I don't understand "re-distributing" animals? When the Ark landed on land Noah open the doors and let the animals out. They just probably ran for it. [little side note: two of every animal is wrong interpretation. The Bible states that "of every clean animals, take with you 7 pairs, a male and its mate; and of the unclean animals, one pair, a male and its mate; likewise, of every clean bird of the air, 7 pairs, a male and a female, and of all the unclean birds, one pair, a male and a female. Genesis 7:1-5] God created animals, insects ,etc. They weren't over the entire planet at that time. Just around today's middle-east.
To your last question: I like to tell people about Noah and his long life. It doesn't matter to me if they believe me. It's part of my faith. I've question the whole God-thing for years and 3 yrs ago finally came to the conclusion that there is God. Thus, God being all powerful and almighty, He could have talked to Noah and told him what to do. Noah didn't built the ark in 7 days or one month. It took years and years. According to the Holy Bible and my faith, God told Noah what to do because Noah was the only faithful person left and He choose Noah to "start" the humanrace again. The bible says that God told Noah that AFTER he was done building the ark, then God would send the animals that God Himself choose to go on the ark, then after all the animals and Noah's family was on board, God started the rain. People get the story really mixed up with children's storybook bibles.
If you believe, you believe; if you don't, you don't. Simple as that. I truly believe God exists. I believe God is all pwerful and almighty. I believe that God talked to Noah and Noah and his family built the ark and gathered enough food to last for a long time. I believe that God made animals go to Noah. I believe that God made it rain heavily for 40 days and nights. If God exists, God could do this all, simply because He's God. God can do anything He wants for any reason He wants.
I think that the Noah and Ark story isn't fulling read and understood by many Christians. My parents raised my 2 brothers and myself Catholic, I went to Catholic school for 8 years. My parents and my brothers never actually read the book of Genesis in it's entirety adn never knew that there were more than a pair of each animal. They didn't know that it took years for the ark to be built. They didn't even know that it was God that sent the animals to Noah, they thought Noah gathered them himself. Anyways, my point is that this is my faith I after years of debating my religion (I flunked all 4 years of religion classes in high school because I refused to read the bible and believe that it was really God's word) I have decided to believe. In believing I have become a much better person for myself and for the people around me. If you choose not to believe, then... Just be a good person. Would it be okay that I pray for you so that the Holy Spirit will enlighten you to the Truth? If God exists, maybe my prayer will help you. If God doesn't exist, then I'm just talking to myself.

Its in the TORAH and the OLD TESTAMENT..It does not say he did it by himself. Only that God told him to build one and what to make it out of and how big.
1. His sons and daughters helped him gather them all.
2.same answer as they went with him.
3.in pens of course.
4.shoveled it out a closeable port or window. or just tossed it over the sides. with the help of his family.
5. the water had risen to the height of 15 cubits above the highest mountian. crude rudder or just drifted on the winds
6. let them lose to find there own paces to live after the land was dry again.
7.No there was no land above the flood level and there are tales of earlier floods and the same tale of one perso that GOD told to build a water craft so that the Earth could be replenished afterwards.
8. yes . remains of a large craft have been found in the general area where the bible says the Ark finally settled after the waters had subsided enough to ground the ship. I believe it took a rise of 60 meters before the ark started to float.
