For example, I'm at work, and hear the phone ring often, but at times it rings I know it's for me before I hear I have a call on line 1. There's other things as well that I know before hand. I've heard of womans intuition. It amazes me that I know certain things before it actually happens. Especially if it envolves my husband and kids.

Yep! Absolutely. It kicked-in before I had even given birth. When I was taking childbirth class with my oldest daughter, I could handle hearing all of the information about various complications. However, when the instructor talked about prolapsed cords (really rare) and the problems associated with them, I was horribly nervous. I couldn't understand why all of the more likely problems didn't seem as horribly impending as that very rare complication. I was almost obessed with worry that I'd be facing a prolapsed cord--not like with any other complication. I'm still amazed by how certain I was that this would happen to me.

Well, as you may have guessed, that's exactly what happened. The cord prolapsed and I was immediately brought to the OR (on my hands and knees with my rear in the air with the baby's head being pressed away from the cord to prevent oxygen deprivation. I knew exactly what to do since I had been so attentive to the details of this complication so everything turned out ok. No CP or residual problems with my daughter.

So, absolutely, we need to give ourselves more credit for our intuitive feelings.

Yup. I was like that with all my children the first few years of life. I always knew when my youngest was tired before she gave any outward signs. I'd go lay her down and walk out. It always killed my husband that I knew and he didn't. He even went in to check on her once and she was already asleep after only a few minutes. But then there are times that I'm thinking about a family member and they call. Its just nice how things work out sometimes.

I find that my intuition is more me picking up on things like body language etc quicker than, say my husband.

Women are more intune with emotions and body language than guys so that is why i believe "women's intuition" is more common than mens. Guys do have intuition though.

Ya mean like tonight for example when I suddenly remembered that I had forgotten to give my grand the money for her school fund raiser and it's due tomorrow? I called her right away and she said, "I just told mom we forgot to get your money for tomorrow."
