e-bay is a good place to start, bt most of the gear might be used, which if it's in good condition, then yeah go 'head and buy it. but be careful that if it's old or dammaged that it doesn't compromise your safety.
for brand new stuff, I'd suggest Asian World Of Martial Arts or Century Martial arts, they usually have good prices if you haven't tried them yet.
better yet if your training in a school, have your instructor get it, if it's just for show or hanging on the wall then go on and buy the used stuff

Ebay-there's lots of good used kit out there because a lot of Japanese kids give it up when the graduate from high school.
