Ignore all those catty "answers" from angry little girls. If you did that, not only would you lose *this* man, but you'll never have another man again if you continue doing it. If you want real, practical advice, ask yourself first: is he really worth it? Meaning, is he loyal and loving to you? Or do you suspect everything he does and he has a notorious past? If you think he's worth it, then DO IT for crying out loud. He had two options: keep silent about your weight and bury his real feelings and drool over other girls, or tell you the truth (even if it might be unpleasant to hear) to keep and protect his interest in you. He did the right thing. Mind you (and this might not sound too shocking, but it IS true), the appearance of the female is of great important to the male. It plays a bigger factor in a guy choosing his soul mate than it does in a girl choosing hers.
From experience, try this:
(1) You don't have to drastically and radically alter your diet. You can still eat fries and burgers if you want. But instead of eating two or three large meals, eat 6-7 smaller meals throughout the day. The key is in keeping yourself feeling not hungry throughout the day. Snacks, junk food, whatever, eat what you want, just make it in smaller portions. If you decide to eliminate sweets and junk food, even better.
(2) WALKING. This is the ultimate weight loss and fitness exercise. Walking and jogging are hands down THE best and only exercise you'll need in the long run.
(3) If you want more spice and variety to your workout, try Tae Bo. Forget aerobics. Forget Pilates. Forget Yoga. Forget EVERYTHING (except walking). Tae Bo is the way to go. It's a workout for every part of your body. It's great for the heart and the entire body's well-being and health. Buy the DVD and start with the instructional segment, then when you master the moves, start with the basic segment. Not only is it very beneficial and useful, it's a lot of fun too.
NEVER use a scale or judge how you look in the first month. It'll only get your morale down. Remember, you won't lose weight in one day or one week. It's a slower process. After one month, you can start judging. I say stick with this new lifestyle for at least three months. After three months, you'll be in a lot better shape and health. I'm sure of that. Good luck.

To lose 20 lbs is no big deal. But it requires a long term diet and exercise plan of may be six months duration. You need to resist temptations and strictly adhere to the plan to see that you achieve the target set. There cannot be a short-cut method to lose 20 lbs faster, say in a few weeks. Losing substantial weight within a very short period can lead to some medical problems that could become serious and difficult to deal with. You should talk to your doctor and a properly qualified dietician and fitness therapist for the correct advice and guidance.

I would just like to say something here. Why is it that so many men these days marries woman saying that they love them and a few years down the road they decided, "well, I love you IF you lose weight. What kind of crap is that? When he married you he promised to love you regardless. If he is trying to change you, that should bring up the warning flags. Tell him that you will lose weight the second that he decided not to be an asshole! What a jerk. Oh, and by the way, if you are going to do it, DO IT FOR YOU, not him!

Well , it's hard to pick only one to achieve weight loss, it has to be a mixture of workouts and food intake too... cliche' i know... but its the only way, I would recommend, jogging atleast 20 mins/day, 6 days a week (1 rest) + crunches and some light arm weight..then depending on how you feel , you might add some more things, perhaps a pilates or aerobics class? *hope this helped in any way*

don't lose weight because of your husband, lose the weight if you want to prevent some sort of sickness that your family has and you might have too.
over the years we all gain weight no matter what we do. it's part of getting old, and the most important thing to look at is your overall health. use the body mass index calculator to check if you are still within range of your weight or if you may need to lose a little.

You ARE NOT FAT!!! You are average. If you want to lose some weight for you then go ahead. It sounds like you just need to tone up if you aren't happy with how you look.
Do not lose weight for hubby-- that is way too much work just for making him happy.

Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Links page has gov. BMI calculater to find out just how much overweight you are (teens plug in your age to compare to others your age). Get latest info like American Heart Association does not want you to eat more than 6 ounces daily of meat, fish or poultry. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

Anxiety always seems to help. I lost about 20 lbs. in under a month by eating a strawberry or a grape every two hours. In all honesty, a good mix of cardio helps. Running is one of the best ways to tone your body, increase flexibility, and burn a lot of calories. At the same time, I love bike riding, which doesn't burn nearly as many calories as running, but will help build lean muscle mass, which in turn raised your metabolism.

Tell your Hubby to get a life, How insensitive of a jerk off is he . Tell him to lose his gut , tell him to get some lessons on making love with a rubber doll. Because that's about how much he will get if you had a brain to stand up to him . What a JERK !!!!!
