Yes. Both Religious Humanism and Secular Humanism are an actual religion. It is actually documented as one under the Humanistic Manifestos I, II, and III. It is also ruled under the United State supreme court that humanism is a religion. What is their god? Well I would say that it is self, and humanity, science, and reason. To me it is a religion of deception and arrogance to elevate oneself to a god for we are not perfect and therefore make poor gods.

I don't know if is a religion. I know that they are people who actually believe that Mankind is so darn great, it knows everything, or can figure out everything. Even though we've been here all these years and all we have are theories that keep getting proved wrong. Come on people give up. Their is a God, yes something more powerful than you that you have no control of. Whaaa whaa!

Humanism is a perspective, not a religion.

Is the idea that all people have value by the mere fact they are human really that offensive?
