Allowing a Muslim man to marry a Christian or a Jewish woman, is an exceptional rule applied under special circumstances. And when a Muslim man marries a Christian or a Jewish woman, there is no problem, because he believes in all prophets, and all holy books. There will be no problem between him and his wife in this matter, especially that his religion -Islam- commands him to be fair with his wife even if she were Christian or Jewish. And any Muslim man going through such marriage should have strong belief in his faith, and should strongly abide by his religion.

The reason for forbidding a Muslim woman from marrying a non-Muslim, is that a Christian or a Jewish man believes only in his prophet, and doesn’t believe in prophet Mohamed Salla Allah Allih Wa Salam or any of the other prophets (blessing be upon them).

Since both are humans it is very much possible :)

However, according to the mulsim faith, it is allowed to marry christian women for a muslim man, but not vice versa.

The reason as told by some commentators is that, when a christian women marries a muslim man, she will not be harassed or ridiculed as muslims respect Jesus Christ and believe him to be a mighty messenger of god. But when a muslim woman marries a christian man, he might ridicule her since his faith doesnt allow him to believe in Prophet Muhammed as a messenger of god.

But this is about theory, in practice it may be like this, or can be that both men are bad, or both are good.

I am unaware of what is the ruling according to christianity, or if there is such a ruling at all, since christianity as a religion was formed before islam in its present form was revealed. However there could be some prophecies that i am ignorant of.

You need to qualify the question. Is it legal in the US yes. What do Moslims think. Well they come over here and marry christians all the time. What do christians think well Christians are so divided and lied too and wishy washy or hard core without being wellgrounded (those far right people have their pet scriptures and think they know but most have not read their Bible much) and brain washed. Christians just will say whatever. The Bible says not to be unequally yoked. What does that mean. Well for sure do not marry an aggressive person who would attack another nation unprovoked, but it's OK to vote for one. You see the Bible was written b4 Mohamed recieved his message so they are not covered in the Bible.

Yes, it is. A muslim man can marry a christian or jewish woman, because traditionally the children that are born of this union take the father's religion. In both islam and christianity, it says that "the child shall be known by the father's name" I was a christian when I married my husband, but I converted to Islam after researching it years beforehand. he had nothing to do with it, and islamically it's not allowed for a muslim man to force a nonmuslim woman to convert for marriage if she does not wish to. it's completely her choice and he is duty bound to respect her religious duties. He is still supposed to be solely responsible for her finances and that of any children.

Islam has made marriage to Jewish or Christian women lawful for Muslim men, for they are Ahl al-Kitab, that is, People of the Book, or people whose tradition is based upon a divinely revealed Scripture. Although they have distorted and altered it, they do possess a religion of divine origin, and hence Islam has made some exceptions in dealing with them.

Yes, but with some conditions.

In light of Islamic Teachings, a Muslim can marry to christian but after converting him/her to Islam. But another condition applies here. a girl/boy must converted to Islam by accepting Islam as his/her religion by heart not just to get married with a muslim person.

If they are practicing their faiths in their truest forms, no.

Christians are told not to be "unequally yoked", a term referencing that Christians should not seek to marry a non-believer (if one is converted after marriage, they are advised to remain married if the partner is willing, so that the spouse may have a chance to be saved as well).

For a Muslim, they are told to convert the "infidel" (anyone who is not Muslim) in their midst, and if they cannot do so, kill them.

It is possible , but one of the two would have to declare their Beliefs to be untrue . That means if the Christian gives God up for marriage , he or she is doomed to hell . By the way , where do muslims that give up their belief or unfaithful muslims go when they die ??
