here's the thing like one person already said prophecies are being filled. i think it is highly that it's near and if we don't know it's near..the why is their the 7 years of tribulation..maybe it began in 2005 or 2001?? ur thoughts again

yes I do. I think the Anti Christ has been born (that baby on the news who was born 6/6/6 at 6 weighing 6.66 lbs)....and when he's 6, it will be 2012...the year the mayan empire predicted that we would die in. According to the bible, its all about when he comes back.

Not in a million years. Mankind will die from suicide not murder. For 2,000 years the Church has, on a regular basis, said that the end is nigh. And despite the hundreds of predictions the end still hasn't come. And each time we were assured that this definitely was the time because of the signs. The end of the World was predicted in 1666. In more recent times the end has been predicted in 1878, 1881, 1914, 1918, 1925, 1939, 1945, 1967, 1973, 1975, 1990, 1997, 1999 and 2000. I guess if you keep making predictions at some time you may be right.

There is no 7 years of tribulation. The 7 years taken from daniel 9 is nothing to do with years of tribulation, it is the 7 years of Christs ministry, as the rest of the prophecy has to do with it.

Christ baptised in 27AD, Christ crucified in 31AD (3 1/2 years after his baptism) in the midst of the week. 34AD stephen was stoned, and the gospel went to the gentiles.

I believe that once we arrive at that point wherein they shall say “Peace and safety” (1 Thess.5:2-3) that then we will have the “sudden destruction” that will occur at the Sixth Seal (Re.6:12-17, Lk.17:24, Lk.21:34, Joel 1:15, Joel 2:31, Acts 2:20, Isa.2:19, Isa.13:6-11).

That depends on when "we" think the end of the world will be. Personally I don't think any current events (Iraq, Iran, North Korea, etc) will result in the end of the world. They result in either the end or a serious restructuring of our current society, including the potential elimination of the human race, but the world will still go on.
