All this xenophobia is typical when good countries are having difficulties. People blame their problems on the immigrants because they are an easy target and cannot defend themselves. What people don't remember (or don't want to remember) is that except the natives, all Americans come from immigrants.
The concept of legality is relative. When the English came to colonize they were supposed to be illegals, but they came anyway and did what they wished, right? Therefore, all whites in the US descend from illegal activities. Same thing with the blacks, they were illegitimately brought to the US, therefore, all their descendents are illegals as well.
We should forget about the legality of the issue and think more as human beings. If we have problems, let's focus on their cause and fix them. But let's face it, illegal immigrants have nothing to do with our problems. These poor people only want to improve their lives and give a future to their children. And they're risking their lives to do it. That's very honorable. If you were in their situation I bet you would do the same thing.
For all of you 'religious' people who go to church every Sunday and love to talk about the Lord. Imagine what would Jesus do and say about this situation. Do you think Jesus would mistreat them, stare down at them and spit on their faces just because they're poor and they're doing what they can to survive? Let me remind you that Jesus was poor, and people did to him what you're now doing to the illegal immigrants.
Then guess who deserves more to be next to Jesus.

Legalizing unqualified illegals will create chaos and inequalities especially welfare funds. Introducing Spanish as the national language will need substantial money to change many records. It is a difficult task to accommodate illegals.

actually in the Constitution of the united states it doesn't say any where what language we speak. i guess it's because when the colonist came here there was all nationality's. they just learned how to communicate with each others. not like today. a bunch of hateful people. boy are four father's would be ashamed of us. i beleave there making it harder for illegals to get welfare. where i live if you'r not legal u don't get it any more.

Yes. And we should pay their airfare to get here. This border control stuff is completely unreasonable. How can a poor man get a decent job if he has to walk across the desert to get here? Oh- and another thing- we need to adopt Mexico's flag as soon as possible!

I think that is a great joke. I think that every conservative that is crying about illegal immigration is covering for illegal activities that they are into.
Americans inventing being crooked. We have robbed, looted and burned others out of their land and taken it over by force. We call it Manifest Destiny which basically means God's killers. We are setting our selves up for the fall from grace.
If American does not stand up for something besides meanness and thievery, we are going to be a second class Country in your life time. Don't miss it!
