A sign that this relationship is going nowhere. Now he just doesn't want to lose what he has to he's saying that he loves you to keep you. Seriously reconsider if this is someone you want to spend your time with.

He is a duck. He says that he'll leave you for a girl, then he goes and tries his luck with the girl. Rejected by her...he calls you and pleads love.
