i heard that it does, like using it for one thing then using it again to heat a diferent food?

I've never heard of it causing cancer.... typically one would use cooking oil once, the exception being a deep fryer.... any reputable restaurant should change the oil at least 2X's a week depending on the volume of business and fried food served. They should also make it available to oil recyclers who collect spent fryer oil and use it to make 'bio-diesel' which prevents the oil from entering landfills and is a viable, yet still new fuel source.

Normally it does not. But i saw a report some years ago that cooking oil much reused could. Many people have the habit of retaining the oil after the frying is done. this condition should be avoided. Basically no cooking oil is a carcinogen.

If the oil has gotten so hot that it smoked, that means it has begun to decompose. If the oil turns rancid after cooling, it contains free radicals that are potentially carcinogenic.

Although I am not sure it is better to be safe by using minimum oil and not reusing it.

I heard it also.I don"t know the scientific reasons . any way I am not reusing oil? Why taking risks?

no i don't think so , Generally restaurants reuses the oil, it is not so harmful that it may cause cancer but ha it may be harmful for our health.
