If you take too much aspirin, that can irritate your stomach and cause it. A tear in your esophagus or inflamed esophagus. Inflammation of your stomach. A couple different kind of ulcers. This is SERIOUS though and if it's happening now, you need to get to the emergency room. There is a possibility of losing enough blood to cause shock.. not so much the vomiting itself.

They'll usually do an endoscopy, stick a tube with a camera on it down your throat, to see what's going on down there and what is causing it. You're not awake for the procedure. You need to be seen NOW though.

As a nurse in a hospital, I've seen a lot. Ulcers which are very near the top of the stomach or before the entrance to the stomach will cause the vomit to be blood red. If black vomit comes up and it is tested positive for blood then the bleed is in the stomach. Blood turns black when digested. Another cause of vomiting Bright red blood could be a rupture of an esophageal varacies. Caused by drinking alcohol and vomiting a lot or trying to stay thin by eating and throwing up.

I am unaware of anything other than ulcers that cause bloody vomiting. There is the possibility of the blood coming from the back of your throat or your nose. More likely it's from your stomach. This could be a serious problem and I would avoid aspirin until you see a doctor.

Ulcers can cause that. So can stomach cancer. Red blood is from the stomach. Black is from the intestines. The drinking probably caused a bought of gastritis. You need to lay off the booze. If you get black tarry stools see a doctor. If you vomit blood while not drunk and it's blood see a doctor as well.

Depends.Could be a number of things. An irritated esophogus, especially if you've been vomiting, a punctured lung, tubercolosis, parasites... You have to be more specific about the symptoms you are experiencing to get a more accurate diagnosis.
