they both the same family in japan there is no infinity. both have the 3.5L VQ35DE engine except the Z pumps out more Torque(twisting force you feel when you accelerate). Like the other guy said the Z does have stiffer suspension like a thicker Sway bar and a nicer limited slip deferential. I'm a more performance oriented guy i say the z better car for the same price. Plus the Z comes in nicer colors like amber orange or the ocean blue. If your looking to add more power or upgrade the car the Z has a lot more aftermarket supply.

Depends on what you want it for.
If you want a balls-out, every weekend to the track, slot-car racing speed monkey, it's the Z.
But if you intend any real world, uptown, out at night with your lady, boardroom lunch transportation, then go for the G.

If you want a convertible, you can only get the Z. If you want something classy, upscale, and sophisticated, go for the G. The G for me please. It's less expected from a 23yr. old male, haha. Typical is boring!
