Do the little things matter anymore, I am still old fashioned in my dating beliefs, yet I wonder if I need to update. Thanks for your input

I really think that being old fashion, sincere and a genuine person is the most amazing thing anyone can do. To me there is always something magical about down time moments .. it can be a moon light stroll on the beach, bring a blanket and some wine .. sit down and enjoy one another's company. Go to a park and become a kid again. Just enjoy being with one another .. enjoying that moment.

The sweetest thing anyone has done for me ... was to have a room decorated with rose petals, candles all around - dinner and wine.

Well I will be 25 in 1 month, but I am a married mom so I will answer your question anyways. The little things are the absolute most important. I like it when he just acts like a man should act. Opens doors, pulls me close when walking in to an establishment, carries the bags. He buys me flowers like once a year and I love it!! Because he doesn't do it all the time, it has so much more meaning. The day to day things I love. I love it when he helps me with dinner, or when he helps our daughter with her homework, I love it when he helps me make the beds. He calls me when we are apart and he is out with his friends...just to let me know that he is thinking about me. Holding hands in public..and when we watch tv he crawls over and lays on the floor and reaches up to rest his arm on my leg. ***BUT the sweetest thing he ever did while on a date was propose! :) Outside of the restaraunt on a bridge secluded from everyone else.*****

Most of my friends are guys and ask the same question, I have always had the same answer. There are lots of sweet things that guys have done on dates that have I will always be appreciative of. But the one thing that I will never forget is he made me wait... you know, he wouldn't give it up. He wanted to make certain that I knew, he was not in it just for the score. I know how hard that was, and my pushing for it wasn't helping. It was so sweet -he needed me to know what I meant him.
Let's be honest, we girls don't make things easy for you guys, do we? Take the time to really feel her out and you will figure out what is the sweetest thing to "her", because after all, it has been different to almost every women who answered you already.

Hey Slay, Old fashioned guys are the best. The sweetest thing a guy ever did for me was to make me the center of attention. I had a blind date, met him at the restaurant, when he walked over to me he gave the biggest hug I've ever gotten, He talked to me, asking questions like he really wanted to get to know me, listened intently at everything I said. His focus was only on me. It felt wonderful, like he really cared about me. I know it was just a first date, but it turned into many after that. We have been dating for 7 months now, and he still makes me feel that way. Good luck, remember to make her feel special.

The old fashioned stuff still works with the new age women. We always like to be treated like a lady. I like it when he takes me shopping to get something nice and tells me get anything I want. Pretty much spoils me. I am pretty easy though. I am just happy going to get a hamburger or pizza and seeing a movie. Have the date planned out. So you aren't asking "So what do you want to do?"

There's nothing like a romantic guy...roses, champagne, candle light, french or italian restaurant, opens doors, holds my hand, tender but passionate kisses, conversations with eye contact....eyes tell a lot...windows to the soul. Basically, treat her like a lady & find out exactly what she likes...we're all different. Easy sh!t...we eat it right up !!!

little things matter the most, like wearing my favorite color, knowing my favorite ice cream, getting me a single flower, or just taking me out for a good time! And when they share something with me that they enjoy lets me know that they really are interested in me.

Being a gentleman, still counts in my book, I don't care if he is my nephew. Chivalry is always welcomed, no matter what age. phone calls, cards, anything that you know she is interested in. If she has dogs, dog treats, etc. kids? baseball games tickets, movie passes, visit the zoo. Women love nature, events that are her interest, conventions, etc. Anything you can think of is welcomed if it is in good taste. Chivalry#1
