i heard that midol is not really safe that is can mess up things for you in the future with having kids is that true and is pamprin the same thing ? cause i am only 17 i dont want to take that chance i just started useing pamprin and it works well for me what do you think ?

Its fine to take. ITs basically just ibprofuen(sp?), a diuretic, and a touch of caffeine to boost its effectiveness.

Except for the diuretic, the other things are found in a great number of pain relievers. And taking a small dose diuretic one or two days a month is no biggie.

Pamprin is just a blend of Over The Counter (OTC) pain relievers with others for bloating...usually caffeine.
The thing to be most careful of is the ACETAMINOPHEN which is generic TYLENOL and you can OVERDOSE on it if you take OTHER MEDICINES WITH ACETAMINOPHEN in it.

i think you should call your gynecologist and ask them, they will better suited for this question as they have more medical knowledge in this field.
