Prepare yourselves for high school dilemmas.

Homecoming is in two-ish weeks, and I need a date. Most of my male friends have girlfriends they're bringing, or they are a year out of high school and aren't too keen on the idea of going to a high school dance. There's a boy I used to unofficially date for a few months. We haven't really spoken much in the past 9 months. But because I don't want to go alone (in a group, but dateless), I'm debating whether or not I should just ask him.

Do I ask, or just go alone?

Ohhh go ahead and ask him! What do you have to lose? I'm betting he'll go. Good luck! (and have fun)

Just ask him - you have a 50% chance that he'll say yes. If he says no then you go alone, but at least you asked.
