It totally depends on the relationship...
my first guy (together for a little over two years)... it took 5 years for me to fully be "over" him
my second guy (together for a year and ten months)... it took me a week (he was a major jerk)

It varies from person to person. According to the nature of your relationship, according to what happened during the course of the relationship that prompted you to end it, and a number of other things would have to be considered to honestly answer this question. However, I can tell u that if the relationship became more of a burden than a pleasure it shouldn't take very long. On the other hand if it was one where you were really in love with and really dreaded ending it, then it may take a little longer but either way; surround yourself with positive, loving, and compassionate, trusting, females; and allow them to embrace and take care of you until you're able to successfully move forward....
