Yep, when I was that age I was scared s*itless when it came to sex.....I wasn't comfotable. I heard it was painful, and it was! Wait until you're ready, 14 is so young and with all the STDs out there and the chance for pregnacy, you should wait. But it's normal to think about it just about everyone does.

It is completely normal. It seems intriguing to see how it feels because your friends are possibly telling you that it feels good but peer pressure can lead to heartache if you are not ready for sex. It can be pretty painful, and scary if you have sex. It can be really scary if you wind up pregnant or get an STD or even worse AIDS so think about the big picture. SEX can be pretty scary after all and yes all of this is NORMAL.

It is normal, It is scary, a new weird experience always is at first, and it can definitely be painful. At 14 you really shouldn't worry about it much. I was forced at 14 and yes it was scary and really painful and I think that at 14 it's really bad because of how small one can be at that age. 14 can be a sucky age for sex because later on you can meet so many good guys, and if you meet someone you really love after you feel bad that you couldn't share that experience because you did it earlier with someone.

yes it is normal...and to be honest, the first time is scary and somewhat painful....the first time (or even first several times) you have sex, it is not as great as everyone makes it out to be. You almost wonder that the hell the fuss is all about...seriously, make sure you are emotionally ready and that it is with the right person.

As a woman, I can say it is quite normal for a girl to feel this way. It's completely unlike anything else you've ever done.

yes that is normal. I am not gonna lie. it is painful. you gotta make sure that your relax and feel confotable with the guy before you even think about geting naked with him and do you feel good about your self. and how do you feel about buying condoms???? if you cant even think about going to the store and buying them than your not ready..... I think you should wait

My wife says "every" girl has these fears. She is a middle and high school coach, as well as a former young girl, so I think she may be right.
