the guy and the girl, I was told they discrimate the darker ones or Indians for tv roles, why, and I also heard that many White Mexicans dont marry out of their Race, is this true?

Sure, there's discrimination in Mexico based on skin color/descent. The lighter colored ones tend to be richer.

iwas once told by a hispanic person that when u see a white spanish person that is a true spaniard. they did not mix with the darker race. the spaniard's mixed with indiasn's and that's where u get the mexican's from. they mixed with the black people and that's where the porto rican's come from. i try to explain this to the small minded people in the town i live in which i call dumb white asses.

I don't know about in Mexico, however I do know that in the Caribbean, especially Cuba, having dark skin or coming from indigenous or African roots, is looked down upon a lot. Usually the Hispanics who come from Spanish roots are viewed as being upper class.

Televisa SA is the most racist broadcasting company in Mexico. They purposely hire the whitest Mexicans for every role. They even go so far as to hire Eastern European actresses like Gaby Spanic(she's of Croatian descent).

well i think its weird to but thats becouse most mexicans look like indians and indians look like spanish people so thay get there role to be something there not its just for mony. And not all white mexicans are like that not that i ever hurd about that one thats the first

The Mexicans wanted to be Americans. Thus, they want to show on the Spanish TV that they are whites.
