I am pretty sure there are popolated places without a phone (landline), dont you think so?

Unless you have a satellite phone you can't even get a signal on the top of Mount Everest, and Antarctica has almost no humans living there so I would say that the last places on earth to get phone service will be the Magnetic North and Magnetic South poles.
