I took 2 hpt and the lines were to faded to tell what the test was. What does that mean?
please help.

see a doctor as even faded results can be a positive result.

depends on the kind of test you using. If you bought the 99cent kind, then the result would not be so reliable. Go buy a more expensive and reliable kind at the drug store and try again.
Also, it might be too soon for the test to show accurate result. If you have a negative result, wait a week or so and test again. You should also use the first urine in the morning, since that's the urine that contains the most amount of pregnancy hormone during the day.
According to my experience, if you see 1 very dark line and 1 extremely faded line, chances are you ARE pregnant. Wait a week and test again, and I believe the 2nd line will be darker by that time.

Oh dear. Why do you post such worries on a public forum board where anyone can claim to be any thing they want (doctor, nurse, mother and so on) when in doubt with a medical issue, even one as great as if you are or are not pregnant, don't ask strangers who will try to help for the most part but you also get jerks that want to cause you nothing but heart ache. Go see a doctor.

I would go and buy a totally different name brand. not a no name. if you aren't late yet the tests may not work. They are based on hormones and the levels grow with each day. The best time to take a test is when you first wake up in the morning. Good Luck with whatever results you are looking for on the test.

Could mean you are pregnant but could be faulty tests. Maybe the hormone level the tests are looking for are just weak which means you aren't very far along. I would go to the doc to get a test done. Good luck.

a positive result is usually still positive regardless of the darkness of the lines... my advice... get another test...(I like the digital ones...) take it with your first morning urine and check the results... Good Luck

ok if you havent had your period in two months i say you are prego...call a dr and get a test done there...they will know for sure and then if you are(which i think you are) you can get prenatal treatment done. good luck!!!
