For 17 years doctors have been picking apart my varied symptoms and only addressing those that can be masked through expensives medications - when all the time I have had an illness that actually encompasses all my symptoms and is exactly the illness I suggested about 15 years ago? Males doctors have mainly tried to look between my legs or send me to a psychiatrist for the answers. Now that I can kick them in the head with a real diagnosis- none of them want to answer why they didn't listen?

Sometimes the evidence only provides part of the story. Not everybody can diagnose correctly, but it is unusual that many have diagnosed incorrectly. Whenever you have a gut feeling about an illness, you should work with as many doctors as possible to rule out the illness. Sorry you have been sick for 17 years. By they way, given how routine procedures were in life threatening in the past; doctors in the 21 Century are not less capable of treating sickness.

Doctors are good for setting broken bones and things of that sort. Acute or chronic diseases, they don't have a clue. The reason is that they subscribe to the germ theory. Bad germ enters body, good medicine chases it out. If their medicine does not chase the symptoms away, then it is all in your head. The germ theory was created by the pharmaceutical industry. I recommend reading "Food is Your Best Medicine" by Henry Bieler MD that will explain this in full, and really help you, and really turn your life around.

They do not spend enough time with their patients . Their average time with someone is 2 minutes. I for one have had to insist on getting the medical care I want and need. For 4 years many doctors that I saw said "you look too healthy" for it to be anything serious. Well, finally with much persistance, and finally going to a dr. who knew what he was doing, I was diagnosed with primary progressive MS. Then the medication my neurologist prescribed for me was denied by my Medical group. I fought for 2 more months to get help. More prolonged treatment and stress which has been very bad for my health.
