do your homework without any distractions so that it is done fast. go to all of the games and practices but don't kill youself, do the sport cuz you want to. friends should understand that you are busy with school and sports and so should your boyfriend. just make sure you get a good nights sleep and keep in touch with your friends. i never played a sport but my friends have and they have missed lots of homework. just try to keep up with it. i hope this helps!!

Its almost impossible to do it all. To get into a good college, you have to have a little bit of everything, and of course timing is everything. Dump the boyfriend, its going to happen eventually, its not like you guys are going to be together forever. Doing two sports is perfect, but only play if you are on varsity or at least get to start. You have to pay attention to all of your homework, no procrastinating and copying, and 2-3 AP classes each year should get you to wherever you want to go. A couple of school clubs, and about 150 hours of community service every summer off should get you into some just-below-Ivy League Schools. See friends on the weekends. I got a free ride to all of the UC's I applied to after doing five clubs, Varsity Baseball and Basketball, a toatl of 274 hours of community service, 4 positions of leadership, I did AcaDeca for two years and Yearbook for two, went to summer school each year, had an overall 4.125 weighted GPA, and picked up a 1975 on the SAT. I had a lot of fun and was never really stressed out.

Well I'm a first year High school teacher, and so my advice may be coming from a perspective that you probably never thought about. I would say that you have to think of in terms of priorities and goals. Ask yourself what you want to become five or even ten years from now, and focus on achieving those goals. If you don't set your priorities, then you'll end up not being satisfied with your life. Once you've gotten your goals, set your priorities. What will come first, homework, school, or boyfriend?

Prioritize..... make sure that you do the most important things first. And always make time for yourself and your family. You can still enjoy your time in high school, just make sure to take care of business.
