My parents once knew of a woman whose last name was Hol, and named her son Alco. Also I bet somebody in the world is cruel enough to give names like Joe Kerr, Ann Oying, Anita Ho/Lei, etc. (can you say Bart Simpson telephone time?)
But pure last names - just check out the phone book for swearwords/funny words or words which sound like them (eg there's probably a Fook/Fock, Edeot, Mister, Ork, Ful, Butt, etc.).

The worst last names I've known and wouldn't want are "Strange" and "Rottencrotch." For that last one, the woman always huffily explained that it was a German name pronounced Roe-TEN-crotch. Uh-huh.
