I'm sure he's been toying with the competition for the past couple of tournaments. He was definately putting on a show this week, and when he made 4 straight bogeys in the Bridgestone...come on, you knew he was still going to win.

Probably yes. All aboves are good answers. I think the way Tiger plays is to get even then build a couple of shots lead, then he would match the opponent.
Say, VJ is leading by three, and Tiger says he wants to match that before the front nine over (in fact he did in 3 holes). Then he's like to build a couple of shots as a buffer. Then, plays a match play to eat up the hole until the end.
Not that Tiger couldn't shoot a low score. There's really no need to shoot 61 when a 63 will do. Low score means high risk; i.e. going for green in all par 5, shoot flags in all holes.
Once Tiger builds a couple of shots lead, then he can afford to hit the middle of the green and play safe to assure a guaranteed win.
That's a real smart play.
If you really want to see his best, must be a stable ford or skin game. Golfers say goes: "wanna see my best, you've got to pay for it (with big bet)."
So, if someone hits really low score, Tiger would have to go for it, and then we'll see risky shots and spectacular inventions on his manufacturing of shots (not that yesterday weren't good shots but even better), otherwise he only plays to win.

You are crazy. So what you are saying is that on Sunday he could of shot a 65 instead of the 72 that he did shoot. And he did this just to make his win dramatic cause shooting a 63 on Monday was a done deal. And he knew for a fact that Vijay didn't have another 61 in him. Yeah makes for good stories, but this is reality. Sorry that it's not as fun as make believe. Do you mean that he is toying with his opponents, well yes and no. Not on purpose, it would seem that he needs that extra incentive to play good. And yes I do believe that he would rather go into a final round behind by 2 or 3 strokes at this point in his career, but he's not going to tell anyone that.

if someone shot 30 under Tiger would want to shoot 60 under. He is a cold blooded assasin on the golf course. He has all the shots and his mind is stronger than anyone else out there. He is a genius in motion. Watch him as much as you can because they will never make a golfer quite like him again.

Probably. When it's all over he'll be known as the greatest golfer ever.
He's a VERY competitive guy, though. To him it's more interesting if the score is close enough. That way he can at least pretend that other golfers are competing against him.

Yes, no one can touch him. Even old time golfers like Old Tom Morris or Bobby Jones aren't in the same league.

If 31 under is possible, he's the guy who would do it. I wouldn't be surprised. He's just hitting his stride now and I think his best is still coming.
