How do you know if your hair is burnt, from staighting, ironing, or curling it?

If the texture is hard and smell like fried cornbread.

When u are washing them with a shampoo, and before you put in conditioner try how your hair feels. If it feels too elastic, like a bubble gum then you know your hair has burned badly...Good luck!!

if you have extreamly bad split ends,i use to straighten my hair everyday,and i had split ends like nobodys business,i cut my hair,but now i dont straighten it as much,every other day or so,that helps alot,and to use really good conditioner
