I had this problem with my dogs (I have 4 of them). Even if it is a cold, you don't want wait for him to get rid of it on his own. One vet told me (after I told him I couldn't afford to bring the dog in) that you can try childrens medicine like robitussen. They Don't like it, but if might help. In my case, it helped with one of my dogs, but the others turned out to have Kennel Cough and had to go on an antibiotic to get rid of it. There is a product sold at feed stores and the tractor supply called Teremycin, its an anitbiotic that goes in the water, costs between 5 and 10 bucks, and it is used generally for cattle and sheep, but I have had some success with it when I absolutly couldn't take the dog to the vet. Follow directions carefully and make sure that the medicated water is your dog's only source of water for about a day and a half - then change the water and give him fresh water - if it doesn't help, or if the dog's coughing gets worse, take him to the vet. Bear in mind though, that sometimes dogs eat too fast or eat things they shouldn't and may cough it up and that is the end of it. Keep an eye on him and take him to the vet if you really need to.

Our 8 twelve months old mini dachshund is presently on sturdy life Recipe and loves it. we've had her on different ingredients like technology nutrition plan and Iams and he or she refused to consume those. So rather, the main suitable nutrition you will get on your canines is one that she'll consume. only on account which you pass out and lay our a fortune on a undeniable nutrition plan nutrition does not recommend she'll consume it and prefer it. Ours is amazingly picky while it involves her nutrition.

My dog had this. It's scary. Even if you do try to cure it on your own, you shouldn't wait. Dog medicine is safer for them, and will do its job better. You don't wanna risk what they have getting worse.
