There isn't a standard time to wait for a response. Just be patient. Keep in mind that someone might be out of town since it is a holiday weekend, or they might just be having a particularly busy week. But if you haven't heard back within a couple weeks, you won't be getting a response.

online site are scams
match.com has scam artist running though it.
seems the ones I send flirts and winks to blow me off and the only ones that resond to me or send a flirt to me are the scam artist. so women on the online dating sites are just as stuck up as the ones you meet in the real workd go figure!!

I dont do these things so I really wouldnt know......but I would wait a day or two. then if I didnt get anything, then I would send another! :)
