Can anyone tell me why Corn Pops Cereal is the only cereal that has that silver plastic holding the cereal on the inside? I've thought about it for many years and only now have worked up the courage to ask this question.

It must be something to do with the ingredients used to make them. They are put in a silver plastic to keep them fresh because most cereals are exposed to open air but are dry enough to keep. This is the best I can do, the thought never actually occured to me so I am very glad that you brought it up!

I think maybe because the cereal is soft inside and crispy outside and would stick to a regular bag. But why don't they put ALL cereal in those silver bags!!! They are great because you can roll them shut tight and the cereal does not get stale like regular bags, you roll them up and they just unroll and you open the box and the bag is open and the cereal is stale!!!! Yuk!!
