College was awesome. You should at least consider it. I would not replace it with anything.

You are an adult now. You need to start making your own decisions and doing what's best for you. Now if you are still living with your parents, then you have to respect their rules. Are they paying for your education. Do you have to go by their income for financial aid or student loans? Either way, you need to communicate with them and explain to them why you want to wait until the spring to attend college. Maybe you feel burned out and just need a break or maybe you want to work to save some money before you go. Whatever your reasons may be, just be honest with everyone. Just don't wait too long to go to college because you may get side tracked and an education is very important. Good Luck and God Bless.

Take some time off, and start next spring. I felt really burnt out after graduating and needed more than a summer to collect my thoughts. If you do decide to start school in the spring, make sure you do something productive in the meantime. ie. travel, volunteer, take a class at a community college, etc.

If you don't want to go then don't. You could always wait a year or two and see if you change your mind. When I was 19 and 20 years old people would always say, "Are you going to college?". All the time, I got sick of it. For me, on hand experience is the best learning. But, that is just me.

It depends when you want to get a job, or what you want to do as a job. Look in to what classes are best and see when they take place. If you think adequate classes are in the spring go ahead and go in the spring.

Do what you want to do. It's your life and you are still young and youth is king. (Just make sure you start going to college in the spring.)

Okay so if you wouldnt go to college think about your options from there.. Balance them and see into the future what you would see of yourself in ten yrs. you can pretty much make a decision from then on.

tell them that it is your decision. you want to work for a while and relax before you jump right back into school again. tell them that you are going back to school in the spring. and tell them not to worry.

The longer you postpone it, the less you'll be inclined to do it. Jump in and DO IT ... college will be the best years of your life and most importantly, your entire future depends on it, so DON'T DELAY !!
