Should I PERMIT??? What country do you live in???

If you love her and trust her, then let her go. If you don't, move on to someone else.

It must be idiot nite on yahoo. Should you permit your girlfriend to go to the beach? I don't know are you her dad? Where do you get off thinking you have the right to forbid her to go anywhere? She can go anywhere she wants. Just like you can go anywhere you want. Which by the sounds of it, will be alot of places alone. Guys wake up!!!! Women do not want your control over them. If they ask you if it bothers you if they go somewhere, and if it does, tell them the truth. Don't say i forbid you to go. If her going to the beach alone is a bad idea, because you can't trust her than dump her. If she is faithful, im sure she is, than let it go man. Adults can do things apart from each other its called trust. Without it, their is no relationship.

If you can't trust her, you shouldn't be dating her. Don't let it be an issue (by the way, I'm just waiting for all the responses from the ladies that say that you have no right to permit her or not to permit her to do anything...I know what you mean...that should you be concerned that she is going without you, just be forewarned that the bashings are surely a-coming)

Number 1, if she needs your permission to go to the beach without you, then she's more messed up than you. Who the heck are you to be telling her what to do. I think its okay for you to make your wishes known and why. If she goes against your wishes then you have a decision to make. But who the heck are you to dare to think that your girl is your slave and she does only what you allow her to do. Maybe I can see why she'd want to go without you.

You, my friend, need to learn a lesson in life and know that you'd don't always come first. When you realize this, then you'll be on the road to real manhood, instead of giving us readers your "attitude".

I think you should remember that slavery in the United States was ended after in Civil War over 140 years ago.

um can you say controlling much? My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 and 1/2 months now, he lets me have my freedom like I do with him. So what if she wears a bikini or a full piece bathing suit? She's more likely to break up with you for you not trusting her than she is not so likely to break up with you for some guy she talked to at the beach. Grow some trust for her, there cant be a relationship without it.

If you don't "permit" her to go, it may be the last thing you ever say to her. My senior year (1994), my senior boyfriend didn't want me to anything without him. We dated until the end of our first semester of college, then I broke it off by telling him that I couldn't stand him telling me what to do. I couldn't understand why he thought just because he wouldn't be around, and god forbid, other guys might be, that I would automatically cheat on him. The reason I am telling you all of this is because last month, this same guy tracked me down AFTER 12 YEARS to apologize. He said it took him until he met his current wife to realize that NO WOMAN with any kind of self-respect will put up with that kind of behavior from her boyfriend/husband.
So let her go and don't ask her about who she talked to later.

Sounds like your a little to possessive and jealous. This will hurt you and your relationship in the long run. You have to show you trust her. If you dont then lose the girl now and save her from all the headache and heartache in the future.

Also.. just for the record unless your married... you have no strings attached.. which means you dont "permit" your girl to go anywhere. she is free to spend time with who ever she wants to same goes for you.
Dont tell a girl you allow them to do something thats just to immature.

Hate to tell you buddy but you don't own her so she can go without your permission. You need to learn to trust her and if you don't, well there's no point in going any further. You can't be around her 24/7 so if she really wants to she can get with other guys and you'll never know about it.

You have an issue with trust, don't you. Also, you are extremely possessive! Remember, she is not your property and your gf is free to do whatever she wants. You will just have to trust her or go to the beach with her. That way you can watch her every move.
