you need to have a complete hormone workup as well as blood count and thyroid panel to rule out internal causes.Diet alone is not enough u need to take supplements.
1.) Seaweeds, help stimulate the thyroid and give minerals for the proper health of the hair
2.) Spinach is great for the hair, contains lots of minerals,as are all the green vegetables.
3.) Protein your hair is made of protein so make sure you are getting it in either animal or vegetable form such as fish,chicken,beef,legumes,nuts... and cheese.Or protein drinks.
4.) take a good b-vitamin supplement with biotin which increases hair growth.
5.)MSM contains naturally occuring sulfer and will make your hair and nails grow faster.
6.) silica
this combined with a good scalp massage with herbal hair oil will do wonders for your hair. Avoid brushing ur hair when its wet,and use a natural shampoo such as lamas chinese stimulating shampoo or Jason thin to thick.

Biolage products are really good. Don't wash your hair too often, and leave in the straightening conditioner (even when it says rinse), but it will give your hair more time to absorb the vitamins and become healthier. Also watch what you use to comb your hair, if it's wet try a comb.

theres this stuff by herbal essense its only about 3 bucks. Its that new stuff they came out with that has the coconut extract and vitamines in it and it really works i just bought some and my hair was really soft and less frizzy. You use it on wet hair and put it in and then blow dry it. I forget what it's called but its their new leave in conditioner. If you go to walgreens or whatever and ask the sales associate they'll know what your talking about it realy works well.

Go to your local pharmacy like at wal-mart and look for these vitamins called skin, hair, and nails. They work really well. They don't smell the best but they help your hair grow strong very fast and keeps your nails hard and long!

You can use a shampoo called Mane and Tail. It's found in the pet dept. of Walmart. It really did seem to strengthen my hair.

stick to one type of shampoo and conditioner regularly, i would recommend pantene. also you should always use conditioner every wash. to strengthen hair or repair damaged hair you could buy hot oils or hair masks. cut out caffeine drinks from your diet as they inhibit good blood circulation. and excercise is great for hair and nails as it helps blood circulation.
hope this helps.
