Try giving him yummy people´s food, to see if he eats. if he doesn´t, take him to another vet as soon as possible! If he does... well, then you have a "spoiled" puppy! :o)

He may have an intestinal obstruction. Did they do an x-ray? If he doesn't eat soon he will die. Buy some nutrical, a high calorie vitamin/mineral supplement. You can buy it at a vet's office or pet store. It will help his appetite. It saved one of my dogs a few years ago who was doing the same thing, not eating. About the samme amount of time. I took her to the vet's 3 days in a row. (hick, quack vet) and all he could say was she had a sore throat. The last day, he gave her some nutrical. He more or less said she was dying. On the way home I stopped at Hardee's for some breakfast and she was begging for the food. I let her have as much as she wanted. She was fine after that.

Go back to the vet. PRONTO. There is something wrong. He needs blood work done, maybe an X-ray. You need to insist on more care or go to a different vet.
Until then, try mixing canned food or meat baby food with water until it is liquid and feeding it to him with a baby's medicine shooter, or eyedropper. Gently tip his head so that his nose points at the ceiling and put the food all the way in the back of his mouth on the outside of his teeth. Rub his throat gently so he swallows, be careful you don't drown him. If he struggles, go easier, until you get him to swallow some. You need to get something into him soon, babies can't go that long without eating.
If he throws up or has diarrhea, to a vet. It may be Parvo or a blockage that will kill him if you don't get vet care soon.
Good Luck

A puppy will not stop eating for no reason. Either go back to your vet (if you trust him) or take the pup to another vet. In the meantime try feeding him rice and chicken mixed. A Vet visit is really needed.

if a puppy is not eating for three days, there is something very wrong. Your vet is either incompetant or doesnt care, either way get rid of him and take your dog to a real vet. Till then, offer the pup some plain yogurt, or some milk

That is not normal for a puppy not to eat. Is there any vomiting or diarrhea? I'd return to the vet or a different vet to look into this further.

You should get a second opinion. Go to a different vet. Not eating is not normal.
