"Last night was a family gathering and I met a girl who is a family friend. She is my age and we had a lot in common with each other. We talked for a fair amount of time until I had to leave. Stupid me didn't even attempt to get her phone number. I am now beginning to realize that I like this girl and would like to at least get to know her more. I didn't get her phone number, email address, etc and I want to contact her. She babysits my uncles children so she definetly isn't out of contact. Here is the problem how do I talk to her without sounding like a lunatic? If I get her phone number from my uncle and call her I think I would scare her more than anything. Plus I don't know if my uncle will even give out someones phone number. So how can I contact her? Any scenarios or advice that you can give will help a lot."

I would say you go to your uncles house while shes there, or call and fake asking for him while shes there.. and then tell her you really enjoyed talking to her the last time and if she would be interested in talking more. If she is, exchange numbers. Hope this helps.

You can try asking your uncle, but then he might get involved or something.
Best bet is to realize you are YOUNG and there are a bunch of girls you can meet. She isn't the only one. You learned a lesson about not letting a good one get away, and use it on the next one... remember to ask for a number!!

Find out when she will babysit again. Then you can just drop by for a few minutes and exchange phone numbers and e mail addresses.

I would start hanging out with your cousin's a little more. Maybe swing by the house when she is babysitting to take your cousin's to play basketball, or to go do something. Make yourself more visable to her, and after a few times of seeing her, figure out if she is someone that you would like to see more often and make you move. Do something, or else the "what if" factor will drive you insane.

Call your uncle and ask him to call her and let him tell her that you would like to talk with her and for your uncle to give her YOUR number,then ask your uncle to call you back to let you know that he has given her your number.Then sit back and see if she calls you,then you take it from there.Good luck.

ASK YOUR UNCLE TO ASK HER IF SHE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE HER PHONE NUMBER. THAT WAY-IT IS UP TO HER.
