I would suspect that those were designed for smaller but older girls. Not necessarily 6 years old. I was a size 6x when I was 12 years old so I can appreciate that. I did not find a training bra to fit until I was 15 (yes I was a very late developer).
Pretty sad, but I also think that the world is causing our little girls to grow up quicker. The little girls are probably starting wearing training bras earlier. They have some pretty risque clothing for little girls that they did not have when I was little.
They are padded to give them a shape. I know it sounds sick and twisted but I would have killed for one of those when I was 12. Anything to fit in.

A parent that is trying to make their child grow up to early, and a parent that is easily lead by fashion.
I have two daughters, and would never buy them a padded bra, even though they are both in training bras now. My daughters also think it is wrong.
Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen brought out padded bras and g-strings for little girls 2 years ago, I think they are the ones that started it.

Whoever is buying the padded bras are probably the same ones that were buying thongs for 10 year olds sold at Abercrombie Kids a couple years back. Then society wonders why we have a problem with teenage pregnancy, self-image issues, child sexual predators, etc. Never in a million years would I consider letting my daughter wear those things, and it makes me sick thinking about the parents that would.

That is the STUPIDEST thing I've ever heard. I don't have any girls. I have 3 boys and I don't want them in class like Kinder with little girls who are wearing padded bras! They need to take those off the rack and parents DO NOT need to be buying them. Girls already have trouble trying to live up to "supermodels" so why the H E L L would you be starting them even younger?
I'm with you!

That's sick and reminds me of a day I was at work (in a mall) It was a Fri night so there were a bunch of girls there for their b-day parties with their friends. One group had a little girl that I recognised and who's family is very prim and proper. And here was their daughter dressed up like a hooker (butt literally hanging out of her pants, fishnets, WAY too much makeup etc) all b/c the other girl's mom thought it made them look cute! Well the prim and proper mom happened to see them and I thought she was going to strangle that other mother right there! She called her husband to bring her some clothes and asked if I'd let her daughter sit in my backroom til he got there so no one else would see her like that. Then we found out that one item in their goody bags was a thong that said juicy on it! The real kicker....the birthday girl was the oldest of them at the ripe old age of 8! (I wonder why there are thongs for kids that age too!)

I agree with the others, the manufacturer shouldn't have made them in the first place, and the shop shouldn't have ordered them in. It's all about supply and demand. As for why a mother would buy her 6 y.o a bra.........that is ridiculous. I mean, a cropped singlet and knickers set is one thing, but a padded bra?? Very strange..........

What ever parent buys their little girls padded bras are stupid and sick. I seen them when I took my daughter school shopping and she asked me why people need bras with booby's already in them. I told her I didn't know but we will never buy them. I think all parents should boycott them in the stores that sell them because I am sure some sicko is just loving to see something like that and waiting to hurt some Innocent child because her parents are stupid enough to buy them. It pisses me off when people are so careless and make idiotic crap like that.

I agree with you. Children are growing up way to fast these days... Parents need to allow them to be children. Like you said the padded bra way is too much. I think 6 is a little young for a training bra anyway little lone a padded one.
