Having lived in California, the state that has equal the number of people as all of Canada! - they need the workers to pick fruit/vegetables as do many other states. They aren't taking jobs from Americans but they are here illegally to which I object. Most Americans would keep their earnings in the country, most illegals do not statistically speaking so it become a larger drain than one would think like in the billions - seriously. There are a host of reasons for people to be on welfare and forcing anyone to work in a specific area is a lose-lose. Training, training, training - most people actually DO want to earn an honest wage but lack the skills to get to the next level.

You assume that people on welfare want to work......this is AMERICA where they give you a free education, if you want it, where if you work hard can make a decent living........but if you blow off school because it's not cool, start squirting out illegitmate babies at 14, and then sit around on your FAT *** with your hand out, you've been oppressed by the white man.... and deserve welfare???? maybe then we wouldn't have so many lazy people sitting on their behinds getting a paycheck they'd actually have to work like the rest of us that support them.I realize there are some that can't healthwize work but the rest need to get off their behinds.
