Curious question to smokers: Why do you continue to smoke?

What are the biggest objections to your smoking from people that you live with?

A. The odor

B. The danger of second hand smoke?

i am a non smoker but most of them want to quit and can not because this is true addiction, an average smoker fails 4-8 attempts. For smokers, besides zyban there is a new drug out called chantex with even better quit rates, good luck

I quit smoking,, because I hate actual cigarettes, but I love the little cigars that look like cigarettes except they're not, so I restarted.

I enjoy smoking. If I didn't, I'd have stayed in the quit phase.

I only quit when it's medically needed. Like when I had surgery, or a tooth extraction.

I just make sure my smoking doesn't infringe on the rights of non smokers. I won't smoke in a non smoking place, and if a person asks me nicely, I'll stop.

Now if their rude or say something is a rude or smart alecky type why,, I'll keep smoking and I've even been known to blow smoke in their direction.

Lets face it,, we all hate jerks,, nice people get what they want (IE:smoking material extinguished),, jerks get a hit or ten blown at them.

F. Other- It is a right that I have, that the war veterans have braveful fought for me, and one of my enjoyments. I don't weed out anyone elses back yard but my own, so those who oppose do it on your side of the fence, but keep out of my back yard!

Seriously...I'm not a smoker myself, but everytime my husband and I see someone smoking we just say "oh..cute."
