ive never done chemical color treatment to my hair so i dont think im at risk for my hair to fall out and i only used sun in for a week in the summer

Make sure you get the highlights and color professionally done since you have already color altered your hair. If you attempt this yourself, it is very possible that the hair will break off where the colored hair and the new hair meet, if the chemical you put in your hair is too harsh. You can get it evened out, but the professional knowledge of a color specialist is highly recommended. Good Luck!

Sun-in chemically changes your hair structure and leaves a metallic salt behind. Even if you only used it ONCE. I would go to a salon and tell your stylist that you have Sun-in on your hair. That way she/ he knows what he is getting into.

if i were you i would not try to. I use to put sun in in my hair and when i went to get it highlighted they had to stripe the coloring out.
