I currently have a 1996 Nissan 200sx SE. Then engine with in it is a ga16de. I am looking forward to get a swap because this engine is way to weak. I already found where to get it from. For 1,500 the guy is giving me A TURBO BlueBird sr20det, a sr20det tranny, and the ECU. He is not giving me any harness and motor mounts.. or atleast thats what I think is all i Need. If possible could you guys tell me EVERYTHING that I'll need for a sucessful swap.

Thanks in Advance

Honestly this is not a very difficult thing to do. The others just haven't done the research. I had a 92 SE-R and it had a stock SR20 and I was going to put the bluebird setup on my stock engine. I was to use my stock harness and it was that simple. There are tons of sites that are dedicated to the FWD SR20.
As far as parts go, you can use the stock 200SX SE-R motor mount and it will bolt right in.
I can go on forever about this, but let me show you a few sites that might help you out. Good luck with your project, you will not be dissappointed, and have fun!!

Wow that is tough you are not going to have ignition transistor plugs or crank angle sensor plugs the SR-20DET wiring is enough different to give you fits. I know of several 240SX cars still not on the road yet. The problem is translated Japan shop manuals and trying to interface with your cars electrical system. Not having a complete engine wiring harness would make me buy the next SR20DET E-Bay motor

John Paul speaks the truth.

I'd just put the 200sx SE on the market and buy a SER Spec V.
