Gee, I wish I knew the solution to that. I'm short -- only 5'1" and I've always wanted to be taller. While jogging is good exercise and may help prevent bone loss, it won't make you taller. I don't know your age, but if you are still growing, just be patient. If you're an adult, about all you can do is give the illusion of greater height by the way you dress; i.e., wear higher heels, dress all in one color (monochromatic), wear vertical stripes and avoid bulky fabrics that make you look heavier. Some guys really dig petite gals.

If you're thinking about growth hormones, most doctors are reluctant to prescribe them unless there's a good physical reason such as stunted growth. However, these are generally administered in early childhood while the bones are still forming.

Being short sometimes has the disadvantage of making a person seem a lot younger and maybe not as credible in the business world, but if you take care of yourself, dress well and have an outgoing personality, you will still be successful and have lots of friends and people who love you. Good luck!

You can't really grow taller than your genes allow barring medical intervention (surgery to make your legs longer) or scientific experimentation.

I think your best bet is coming to terms with your real height. I'm barely 5'1" and I used to HATE it, but I've realized there are some great benefits and it's what I'm stuck with.

If you are worried about your public image still, wear taller shoes or things that make you look taller than you really are.

Jogging, however, I don't think will do much for your height. It might even make you fractionally shorter as running puts a lot of strain on your legs.

pilates and yoga have been known to stretch muscles in the back and add 1 or 2 cms to height but thats it. Jogging compresses these muscles so no, it wont make you taller.
if you are still growing then a good diet wont go astray.
Besides theres nothing wrong with being of a smaller stature. Eva Longoria and Kylie Minogue are both about 5' and they are gorgeous!

I would think jogging would make you shrink. If I were wanting to grow taller I would hang from a doorway with straps under my armpits or a strap under my chin. But make sure your tiptoes can touch the floor and make sure you are not alone when you do this.. you may get stuck. I think this would stretch your backbone and make you taller. There is also a growth hormone shot that is given by physicians.

Some people believe when you do pilates/yoga you look taller. You gain better posture and leaner muscles. Jogging may help you get muscles and lose a little weight but not make you taller.

No, jogging won't make you taller. You should accept and embrace your height. There is really nothing you can do about it...except stand up straight.
