I feel an ear infection coming on, and I just lost my job, hence lost my insurance so I was wondering if anyone out there knew of any home remedies to help or at least stop the pain of an ear infection?

You have do go to a doctor. Even if you can lessen the pain, the infection will persist, and just get worse. There are no home remedies that will cure infection.

its possible you have tonsillitis. not really a lot you can do with that except ice chips and popsicles or other frozen juices for swelling. but it sounds like your eustachian tubes are clogged. chiropractors trick to help: grab your ear lobe and quickly but firmly pull it down and forward like making a check mark. another pressure point trick: rub your feet where your toes join your foot, press gently on any tender spots, and squeeze the "ball" at the end of each toe. do this for about 2 minutes on each foot and something should start to loosen up in about 10 minutes. good luck!

Take them 4 times a day for 10 days...do NOT stop taking them until they are all gone, period. Do this now! YOur hearing is at stake. Good luck
