You will probably be considered an 11th grader after you pass geometry. I'm not sure how it works at your school, but when I went to junior high and high school, you were classified by grade because of how many classes you successfully completed. For example, if you completed 9 classes, you would get 9 credits, and be considered an 8th grader. If you completed 19 classes, you would get 18 credits, and be considered a 9th grader. If you do not successfully complete a class, you do not get the credits, and you do not get moved up a grade. Check with a guidance counselor as soon as school starts.

It is probably a mistake. As long as you passed English and History for 9th and 10th grade, you should be in the 11th this year. The reason you did not get Geometry is probably because you failed Algebra and that comes prior to geometry. Just chill out. Wait until your first day of school and see if it is just an error. Can't your mom or dad help you straighten this out? If not, ask a friend's parent or your school guidenance counselor. You are getting upset without knowing all the details.
