love can last forever, however speaking from experience.. I am married to my husband for 10yrs. and I was really in love with him about 3 yrs later things started to change because we would argue about the stupidiest things.

We are still together but it has become a business marriage, what I mean by that is.. He pays the bills, goes grocery shopping, takes the children to the park and that is basically it. There is no love and affection, he sleeps on the couch every night.. So to answer you question from my point of view, NO it does not last forever...

Love goes through cycles. Yes, it may feel that love has faded after that initial butterflies in the stomach I cna't breathe without you feeling. Then love becomes comfortable and may seem to have faded, but it hasn't. Love morphs and changes. Those butterflies come back. Love deepens and becomes more mature. Love can last a lifetime with passion and intensity, but there will always be times where you are "just friends." This is the tru test of love. Can you be friends and lovers? If you can, then love will last forever.

It depends.... if you are young, not married, and just dating... you feel that it could go on forever. Love can differ in the way you look at it. You are infatuated with your boyfriend, you love him, and think the love will never end....that is mearly a temporarly feeling....a good feeling and sometimes lasts a very long time. When we grow older, and have been married for years, yes...we still love our spouce, but the love is more or less a part of the woodwork, and the two grows together as one!

The exciting, romantic feeling of being "in love" does not last forever, but when that goes away it doesn't mean you don't love the person anymore. It's just a different kind of love. Unfortunately, too many people interpret it as meaning that they have "fallen out of love" and end the relationship. People like that generally end up having one relationship after another.

If the couple gets along well, often try to resolve their issues in a productive way, have a good sex life, then love can last forever. But if they don't do a good job of resolving issues and things like that, love can fade. It depends on the couple.

It goes on forever only if it was true and pure to begin with.....take for example, my son's father. He ain't ish, he's a total loser, and a horrible father....but i still love him, BUT I'm not in love with him. I'm totally over him and we have not been together for 6 years. I have someone eles and I'm happy.......just because two people aren't together anymore doesn't mean that the love they had for one another disappears.....

Love can go on far longer than forever..... sometimes it stops but if you find the right one it will only grow and grow. It never ends!

love has been around before the beginning and will continue when all else has stopped. physical love is what we feel for our fellow beings that we can express to one another daily, spiritual love is what got us to that point and what will carry us on forever.
