Which country's passport gives it's citizens the best access to the world? And why?

Please do not answer with childish, sophomoric drivel about what a great bunch of lads you are all. I’m not talking about opinion; I mean type of visas granted etc. For example, three countries in Asia I'm familiar with are:
Taiwan: US holders can get a five year multiple entry no charge. Canadians can get 1 year multiple. Brits and other euros generally only two months and are charged.
Thailand: The same visas but only US passport holders can legally own a ria (sp) of land. UK and others cannot.
China: Same amounts of time but since US imposed stricter controls on visas; China retaliated with higher fees for Americans.
Any ideas?
